The protection offered by the mountains and the proximity to the Mediterranean with its warm updrafts create a unique microclimate. This is where the expressive Morellino from il Salotto grows.<\/p>\n

Intense ruby red with vivid reflexes.<\/p>\n

Scent<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Distinct echoes of red fruits, blueberries, currants and ripe cherries in the nose accompany the finishing flavours of green pepper and leather.<\/p>\n

Aroma<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In the mouth, evenly full and round with a fine, lasting flavour and a harmonious yet non-aggressive acidity. The tannins present themselves as soft and silky and they envelope the palate with an elegant and long-lasting aftertaste.<\/p>\n

In 2019, we harvested the remaining old vines with an outstanding result.
