DOCG – 2020 vintage
An expressive Morellino RISERVA from the top elevation of the Maremma region in Tuscany. Protected by the mountains and with the help of the warm updrafts of the Mediterranean, a unique microclimate is created. This is where our Morellino grows on small, south-facing plots of land before it ages for 18 months in new French barrels.
In 2019, we harvested the remaining old vines with an outstanding result. Since our wines first continue to age in bottles and barrels to develop their full taste, we will only bring our Morellino di Scansano RISERVA to market at the end of 2021.
